Geo-radar measurement (GPR measurement) is geophysical methods for testing underground structures and objects, based on the principle of transmitting an electromagnetic signal and receiving feedback signals after passing through the underground. The electromagnetic signal recognizes media of different electrical conductivity as the limit of reflection. Depth of signal penetration depends on the frequencies of the transmitter. The lower the frequency, the deeper the signal penetration. According to the type of signal being recorded, the method is similar to reflective seismic and similar processing and interpretation principles are applied.

MALÅ groundexplorer (GX) is based on innovative, MALÅ High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology and represents a leap forward in Ground Penetrating Radar. We have MALÅ GX 80 which penetrates up to 100m and MALÅ GX 450 which penetrates up to 10m. MALÅ GX georadars are insolated from background noise so seismic data can be more accurate. They are gather the data quickly, because of built-in GPS system positioning is precise.
